The City of Little Rock will be launching a free website on March 30, 2011. (www.littlerockserves.org)

It will serve as “a one-stop shop for volunteerism in our city,” Michael Drake, of Little Rock City Hall said.

The purpose of the website, according to Drake, is to broadcast volunteer opportunities within the city and to help advance and enhance the existing good work that is being done by the non-profit sector.

The website will feature search and matching capabilities for users as well as other unique features.

The City of Little Rock would like to encourage any organization with volunteer opportunities to list them on their website. For more information, individuals can contact 501-371-4510 or visit www.littlerock.org.
