An impressive crowd showed up for the opening night of Riverfest 2011. Arkansas Free Press staff were on hand to meet a few members of the crowd. More exclusive coverage to follow in the days ahead.

Bret Michaels live from the Miller Lite Stage at Riverfest Friday night. Fans showed up in full force to support this heavy metal hair band from the 90s. "Security was absolutely necessary," John "Red" Smith, one of the guards backstage said.
