Written by Billie Nardozzi

What of the passive nights
And what of the dismal days
And what of the promised love
That never put us in a haze
And what of the lightless stars
That had fogged our cannot kisses

And what of the blown out candles
That blew out our dreamful wishes
And what of the quiet moments
That had triggered our lone-disheartening
And what of the seeds that put us
In a web of ungrown gardening
And what of the hands of flesh
That never seemed to desire the touchment
And in turn gave us the invisible pass
To release ourselves from suchment

Billie Nardozzi
